VIRTUAL MINISTRY

Our virtual ministry approach along with in-person experiences allow us to connect with people around the world and introduce them to the life-changing, wonder-working power of Jesus Christ.  We are called to use the tools of the internet to fulfill the church’s mission to go out and make disciples of all nations.  We have the flexibility to serve you and offer you the ability to be a part of this vibrant and growing church community no matter where you live!  Check back frequently for announcements regarding both our virtual and in-person ministry offerings.

  • What is a virtual ministry?
For us it means that we are using the internet to connect online with people around the world in order to introduce them to Jesus Christ. We are building a virtual community of believers with access to messages, bible studies, prayer warriors, fellowship opportunities and much more to help nurture and grow your walk with the Lord.
  • Is virtual ministry really church?
YES! The church is not a building. The church is the body of Christ in which Jesus is the head and whose members have received Christ by faith. Its purpose is to magnify and exalt God in worship, to train and instruct believers in their discipleship, to minister to the needs of its members and the world, to encourage and develop the Christian fellowship of its members, and to equip its members to evangelize the world and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are excited to be able to build a community of believers without being limited to the four walls of a building in one location. (Ephesians 1: 20-23; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:41-47 Ephesians 4: 1-16; Matthew 28: 18-20)
  • Why have a virtual ministry?
The simple answer is that since almost everyone is online then we need to go where the people are! There are so many who are seeking something different, a change in their lives and may not be able to identify what that is or where to start. There might be people online who for a variety of reasons may never step foot in a local church, but are interested in learning about Jesus. There are also those who just want to feel that they belong, are accepted, or have someone in their lives that can provide support and encouragement. Our prayer is that while scrolling online, they are led to our ministry and have their souls “fed.”
  • I don’t really feel like I’m at church when “worshipping” online. Will there be in-person services?
YES! We realize how important it is for the body of believers to gather together in-person. If you are in or near the Twin Cities area of MN, there will be opportunities to worship, study and fellowship together coming soon. As we learn to live with the idea that COVID and other health threats will probably continue to plague our communities in some way, we are exploring a variety of ways in which we can safely come together on a consistent basis. Check this website frequently for updates.
  • How can I attend in-person services if I don’t live in the Twin Cities area?
We have a plan!! Get involved with our online ministry so that we know where you are. You can also subscribe to our contact list, reach out on social media, and/or send us a note to let us know where you are. As we continue to grow, there will be opportunities to worship, study and fellowship with others in your local community.
  • Can I become of member of Ruach Christian Center if I am only involved in the virtual ministry?
ABSOLUTELY!! We would be honored to have you. You may join by Christian experience if you have already accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. You may also join by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and being baptized. For details on how all this works, please select the “MEMBERS” tab for more information.
